Crew members of the 63rd long-term expedition of the International Space Station isolated themselves on the Russian segment of the ISS to find a place for air leakage. This was reported by the press service of Roscosmos. The closure of the hatches between the ISS segments took place on the evening of September 25. Cosmonauts Anatoly Ivanishin, Ivan Wagner and US astronaut Chris Cassidy will stay on the Russian modules Zarya, Star and Search until September 28. The crew of the MKS-63 will regularly perform all the planned work, the safety of the astronauts is not threatened, emphasized in Roscosmos. Atmospheric leakage was recorded on the ISS at the end of August. Previous attempts to determine the exact location of the leak were unsuccessful. As previously reported by the news agency, on August 22, cosmonaut Ivan Wagner said that the leak of the atmosphere on the ISS does not greatly exceed the permissible requirements and is compensated by gas delivered to the station by cargo ships.
