In Britain, scientists will create smart charging for electric aircraft


An agreement to create smart charging for electric aircraft was signed by Vertical Aerospace with the UK Institute of Aerospace Technology. This was announced on September 25 by the portal Evtol.com. We are talking about the latest aircraft with vertical take-off and landing, which have electric batteries. According to the company's plans, the charging being developed by scientists will allow flights on such aircraft to be longer and safer. The cost of the agreement amounted to 2.3 million pounds. The first flight of smart charging devices should take place in 2024. Recall, on September 24, the analytical agency Avtostat published statistics according to which by August 2020, sales of electric vehicles with mileage increased by 72% in Russia.
