I wanted to shoot Lenin: how chieftain Semenov fought the Bolsheviks

September 25, 1890 in Transbaikalia was born Grigory Semenov - the future chieftain, general and one of the leaders of the White movement in Eastern Siberia and the Far East. Opponents made legends about his cruelty and ambition. After the defeat of the White forces in the Civil War, Semenov emigrated and began to cooperate with the Japanese. In 1945, he was captured and taken to Moscow by Soviet special services.
