Diplomat from Ukraine outraged by Montenegro's decision to open borders for the Russian Federation
The Ukrainian consul in Montenegro Mikhail Shmatov called discrimination against residents of Ukraine the decision of the Montenegrin authorities to open their borders for Russian citizens. He wrote about this on his Facebook page. The diplomat explained his indignation by the fact that the Russian Federation, unlike Ukraine, immediately granted this permission. At the same time, according to Shmatov, the largest part of tourists visiting this Balkan republic is represented by Ukrainian citizens. I am outraged that Russia was immediately placed in the green zone without any conditions. I will remind you that Ukraine, which since the beginning of summer has provided Montenegro with the largest number of tourists, having 13 14 boards per week, is in limited rights. Shmatov expressed the hope that the authorities of the republic will nevertheless lift the entry ban for residents of Ukraine. According to the news agency, on August 3, the Montenegrin authorities announced a decision to open borders for Russia and Azerbaijan without additional conditions.
