On August 25, the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire Regime announced six cases of violation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine of additional measures to strengthen the ceasefire on the demarcation line in the DPR. Five violations were recorded in the Gorlovsky direction: twice the Ukrainian military carried out engineering work in the area of ​ ​ the villages of Novgorod and Shumy.
