If the current head of the White House, Donald Trump, wins the November presidential election, then the dollar will begin to slowly strengthen, said economist Vladislav Ginko. He stated this on June 29 to the correspondent of the news agency, commenting on the forecast of the head of Sberbank German Gref that by the end of 2020 the ruble could strengthen to the level of 60 62 rubles per dollar. The dollar is now a riskier asset than the ruble, Ginko said. Predicting the behavior of the dollar compared to the ruble is quite difficult. We see that there is an unlimited issue of the US dollar so many dollars will be poured into the American economy. At the same time, if we look at the global liquidity chart, then we will see that it is falling. The problem with the American economy is that it cannot control its own currency, since the dollar turns not only in the American economy. And the situation is such that we now see in the global financial system a situational deficit of the dollar. And the indices went into minus. When the ruble exchange rate became floating, it began to absorb absolutely all the risks that arose. It is plus. But the downside is that we do not know what the rate of the Russian national currency will be tomorrow. It is impossible to predict at all. It is influenced not only by oil, but in general by everything that happens in the world economy. Therefore, according to Ginko, the exchange rate of 60 62 rubles per dollar is not guaranteed at all. On the other hand, its weakening is not guaranteed. Before Trump's November victory, it is almost impossible to predict the dynamics of the dollar. After the November election, if Trump wins, the dollar will slowly strengthen. Now the dollar has very big political risks, the economist said. Recall, as the news agency reported, earlier economist Sergei Khestanov said that if at the end of 2020 the ruble exchange rate is strengthened, then it will be small and smooth.
