Europe is not a decree: Russia dismisses criticism of the amendments to the Constitution

Russia refers to the opinion of the Venice Commission on the amendments to the Constitution as to the recommendations. The Commission published its comments on the proposed in Russia amendments to the Constitution concerning relations with the ECHR. The experts expressed concern about provisions allowing not to perform in Russia of decisions of interstate bodies that contradict the Constitution. However, Russia insists that no decision of an international organization may not be required.
